A magical program inspired by stars, space, and the universe, exploring where we come from—and where we’re going—through imaginative choral storytelling
Stardust invites audiences on a celestial journey through choral works that shimmer with wonder, longing, and light. Anchored by B.E. Boykin’s luminous setting of Stardust, this program reaches for the heavens and finds meaning in the stars above and the dreams they inspire. We reprise Stella Clara by Richard Waters—a radiant setting of Charles Anthony Silvestri’s reimagining of “Star Light, Star Bright,” originally commissioned in part by the Chorale—and revisit the poignant wisdom of Randall Thompson’s beloved Choose Something Like a Star. Zanaida Robles’ stirring arrangement of “Bright Morning Stars” rounds out a constellation of works that celebrate the awe, mystery, and quiet beauty of the night sky.
